Data is used solely in aggregate form to improve our content and is never shared with third parties.

Information You Provide to Us

If You use our “Segnala una ricetta” (Submit a recipe) or “Segnala un evento” (Submit an event) forms, or contact Us directly, We collect the information You choose to provide, such as Your name, email address, and the content of your submission or message. We use this information solely to respond to You or to review and potentially publish your submission on the Service.

Newsletter

If You choose to subscribe to our newsletter, We collect Your email address and use a third-party Service Provider (Brevo) solely to send You the newsletter You requested. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter email. Please refer to Brevo’s own privacy policy for how they process data on our behalf.

Push Notifications (App Only)

If You enable notifications in our mobile app, We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) to send You notifications about new content on RicetteUmbre. This requires a device notification token, which is used solely for the purpose of delivering these notifications and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Favorites (App Only)

If You save recipes as favorites in our mobile app, this information (your list of saved recipes) is stored locally on Your device only. We do not have access to it and it is never transmitted to Us or to any third party.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Respond to Your submissions or inquiries
  • Send You the newsletter, if You have subscribed
  • Send You app notifications about new content, if You have enabled them
  • Understand aggregate usage of the Service in order to improve it

We do not sell, rent, or share Your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not use Your data for cross-app or cross-website tracking as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, and accordingly, our app does not request such permission.

We may disclose information only:

  • With Your consent, for any purpose You have specifically agreed to
  • For legal reasons, if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities
  • With Service Providers strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g., our newsletter provider, our hosting provider), who are contractually bound to use Your data only for the purpose of providing that service to Us
