Wine Love Weekend 2026: Three days of wine, food and music in the heart of Umbria
From 5 to 7 June 2026, Terni will become the wine capital of Umbria with the third edition of the Wine Love Weekend. An unmissable event for all food and wine enthusiasts.
If you love Umbrian wine, if you’re curious to discover small producers and rare bottles, or if you simply want to enjoy a different kind of weekend filled with authentic flavours, music and culture, the Wine Love Weekend is the event for you. From 5 to 7 June 2026, Terni — the romantic city of St Valentine — opens its doors and dresses up to welcome wine lovers, industry professionals and curious visitors alike for three days of pure wine-tasting delight.
The event
Now in its third year, this event reaffirms its successful format: three days of tastings, talks, masterclasses and concerts that bring the Campagna Amica Covered Market in Largo Manni and the city’s historic centre to life. Historic streets and buildings are transformed into themed ‘Wine Districts’, where visitors can discover the latest trends in the Umbrian wine sector and beyond.
The aim is to tell the story of wine in a contemporary way, bringing together consumers and producers, tradition and innovation, local character and creativity.
The programme at a glance
L’evento si articola su tre location principali e altrettanti formati:
Wine Districts and Tastings (5–6 June, Campagna Amica Covered Market, Largo Manni) is the beating heart of the event. Here you can meet over 40 producers, sample hundreds of wines and take part in food and wine tastings led by sommelier Roberto Lombardini. Daily admission is €20, with the option of a guided tasting for €25 (or €30 including entry to the wineries).
Wine Love City (5–7 June, Piazza della Repubblica) brings wine straight to the square, with tastings led by sommeliers, food pairings featuring local produce, gourmet pizza by master pizza chef Enrico Bigotti, and a Legurì-branded aperitif with a selection of cheeses, cured meats and sparkling wines.
Calici sotto le stelle (7 June, Piazza Tacito) brings the event to a close in style: on Sunday evening, guests raise a glass under the Terni sky for a romantic and atmospheric finale.
