41st Mushroom and Trout Festival from 12 to 15 August in Borgo Cerreto di Spoleto
In Borgo Cerreto di Spoleto, from 12 to 15 August, the 41st Mushroom and Nera River Trout Festival will take place, organised by Pro Loco Borgo Cerreto-Ponte Aps.
The event will feature traditional dishes made with porcini mushrooms and trout, dance evenings with live bands and, on 15 August, a fireworks display.
The programme also includes a range of side events:
- on 10 August, the feast day of St Lawrence with a mass, procession, football tournament and dinner;
- free visits to the Museum of Mummies from 12 to 15 August;
- on 30–31 August, in the hamlet of Ponte, the historical event ‘Ponte longobarda’ with performances, tastings and a themed dinner.
